With over 25 years of progressive leadership in asset management, reliability, and operational excellence, Susan is a seasoned consultant and educator dedicated to helping organizations achieve sustainable performance improvements. As Principal Consultant at Steppe Consulting Inc., she has advised clients across oil & gas, mining, and pipeline sectors, guiding major restructures and embedding best-in-class maintenance and reliability strategies. A certified instructor for PEMAC’s Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) and Asset Management Professional (AMP) programs, she has shaped the next generation of industry leaders while serving as Past President of PEMAC and Chair of the World Partners in Asset Management. Her career includes senior roles at Nexen, MEG Energy, and EnCana, where she led cross-functional teams to implement ISO 55000-aligned asset management systems. A respected thought leader and speaker, she continues to advance global asset management competency and operational excellence.
